Our Services and Expertise
Pain physiotherapists apply current, pain-specific and well-founded knowledge in neurophysiology and neuropsychology. They also draw on a deep understanding of different types of pain and work scientifically and on an evidence-based basis. Through structured interviewing and specific diagnostic procedures, a comprehensive picture of the patient is captured. In the subsequent clinical reasoning process, hypotheses are formed and weighted. Based on this, goals are defined together.
Focused shockwave therapy is a treatment method in which targeted high-energy sound waves are used to support the body's natural healing processes. The sound waves are generated by a specialised therapy device and transmitted precisely to the affected area via a water cushion. Within the tissue, the shockwaves produce mechanical stimuli that trigger a range of biological responses:
• Improved blood circulation
• Stimulation of metabolism
• Regeneration of damaged tissue
How does the treatment work?
Since the effects do not occur immediately, we typically plan up to 6 sessions at weekly intervals. Healing progresses gradually, and the final result can usually be expected around 6 weeks after the last session. During this time, the tissue responds to the applied stimuli and begins to repair itself.
Typical areas of application:
Achilles tendon complaints, plantar fasciopathy, shin splints, tennis and golfer's elbow (epicondylopathies), patellar tendinopathy
After injuries or illnesses, the body needs targeted support to rebuild strength, endurance, mobility and coordination. This is exactly where Medical Training Therapy comes in. Under the expert supervision of our physiotherapists, you train on specialized equipment and with functional exercises tailored individually to your needs. This ensures that every movement is performed correctly and that you benefit optimally from your training. MTT not only helps with recovery after an injury, but also helps you become stronger, more stable and more resilient in the long term.
Sports physiotherapy is not only used after an injury — it can also be used preventively to minimize the risk of injury from the outset. To do this, we first analyze the specific demands of your sport together with you, in order to develop a training program tailored precisely to your needs.
Our specialised therapists apply a range of massage techniques in a targeted way to address your individual needs — whether for acute or chronic pain, following an injury, or as support during rehabilitation. Medical massage helps relieve pain, improve circulation, reduce stress and restore energy. Whether after an intense training session, a competition or simply in everyday life. Every treatment is individually tailored to your needs so that you feel your very best.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle form of medical massage. Through rhythmic, circular movements, the lymphatic system is activated, the drainage of interstitial fluid is encouraged, and the body is supported in its natural detoxification process. Particularly after surgery or injury, MLD helps reduce swelling and promote healing. For lasting results, we place great importance on subsequent compression therapy, which consolidates and stabilises the treatment outcome.
Dry needling involves the use of sterile, single-use needles that are inserted into the skin or the underlying tissue. The aim of this method is to treat movement restrictions, musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system. In doing so, muscular trigger points can be released, pain reduced and mobility improved.
Sometimes it is not possible to come to our practice in person — whether after an operation, due to an injury, a chronic condition or limited mobility. In exactly these situations, physiotherapy is particularly important to maintain mobility and support the healing process. With a medical prescription for home-based treatment, we visit you at home without any hassle. This way, you receive the necessary therapy in your familiar surroundings. The costs of home visit treatments are covered by basic health insurance with the appropriate prescription.
Manual therapy is a specialised treatment method for functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Using precise hands-on techniques, our trained therapists treat pain and movement restrictions in the spine and joints, supporting the body's natural healing processes.
Temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) refers to functional disorders of the temporomandibular joint, which are often associated with pain in the jaw, head or neck area. Common causes include overloading, teeth grinding, stress or muscular tension. We begin with a thorough diagnostic assessment comprising a clinical interview, functional tests and movement analysis. On this basis, we develop an individualised therapy concept tailored to your specific complaints and goals. Treatment combines manual techniques, targeted exercises and guidance on better managing your symptoms. In addition, you will receive a personalised home exercise programme to relieve strain on the muscles and joints and to sustain the therapy results in the long term.
Our Vision
Shaping health - with perspective
Our practice stands for modern physiotherapy in which quality, sustainability and humanity go hand in hand. We do not simply relieve pain — we empower people to take an active and self-determined role in shaping their own health.
It is not just about a single joint or a single movement — it is about the whole person, with all their goals, limitations and possibilities. We understand health as a holistic interplay of movement, knowledge and motivation. And we see our practice as a place that fosters exactly that — every day, with every visit.
Our Mission
Therapy that works and keeps working
Our mission is to be a place where people receive more than just treatment: genuine understanding, room for growth and tools for self-efficacy. We combine classical physiotherapy with modern exercise therapy, individual care and preventive approaches. In doing so, we bridge the gap between immediate relief and long-term health literacy.
